Using the Eyedropper Tool in Pixelmator

Hey everybody, my name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Come over to your tools window and come down and select the "T", this is your "type" tool and it allows you to add text onto your canvas, so I am going to select that and come over and you can click anywhere on your canvas and then type whatever you want. And after you have your text, you can change your color and the font. I'm going to select my text and you can come down into your swatches and choose a color there if you want. You can also do it over here in your palette. You can also come down to the tool options and select show fonts, and come over here and you can change your, your font and you can change the type face and the size as well. That's how you add a text to your canvas. Right beside the text tool is the eyedropper tool, what this does, is this adds whatever color you click it on, it will put that into your palette, so if I click here on the white, it's going to change my color here to white as you can see. And if I click on the red, it's going to change that to red. And down here at the bottom, it's got a magnifying glass so that you can see exactly where you are at. But that's how you use the eyedropper tool.
