Basically the only tools you really need are, you need your cutters for cutting your bead chain and also for pinching your connectors together once you put your connectors on your bead chain just to give it a little pinch to close it so that it is secure. And pliers, I use pliers that are also crimper's because I like the shape and they are just very easily manipulated. They feel good in your hands. So and the reason you need these is to open your jump rings from side to side and you can use your hands with the other side as a lever and those are the tools that you need to make the bead chain, jump ring necklace."
