Hi, I'm Kevin and on the behalf of expertvillage.com. Our next step is to uh...transfer our piece from the wheel, generally we would let it dry a little bit longer, but I want to show you some information about a bisque kiln or an electric kiln. Now you can fire an electric kiln, a gas kiln it doesn't matter; as long as it reaches temperature, your desired temperature. Earlier we talked about cones and it's different temperatures that the cones melt at. And in this case, I am going to fire this electric kiln, right here to approximately 1845 degrees. And we'll call that cone 06. Just take my bowl and as you can see here, there touching in a bisque kiln, they can touch. Stack on one another, lids can remain on. Here's another one; this mug is stack on top on this vest very careful so it doesn't fall. And I'll add a few more piece and set my timer and temperature to cone 05 and after it's fired; we're glaze it.
