Go Kart Racing Shoes

Hi this is Tommy from Expert Village and we'll be talking about racing shoes today. The racing shoes are generally for two reasons. One reason they use shoes is they have softer soles and thinner soles so you can feel the pedal and get feel when you?re driving. The other reason for using racing shoes is the fact that they're high tops and they have ankle protection in case you go out of the cart and start sliding or something hits you. You have to have a high top that has ankle protection to race. These are some Sparco shoes, they're pretty much top of the line, and they run in a hundred twenty five dollar range. We also have another brand called Gaygel and these shoes have extra protection on the sides and on the ends and they have, it's like a real hard material and they have very good abrasion resistant. Their soles are also very soft and they wear for a long time. The reason a lot of people use these shoes is because they're a lot smaller and they fit on the pedals and stuff. Some people even use like wrestling shoes; they're very, very comfortable. Wrestling shoes you can probably buy for about forty or fifty dollars. The racing shoes anywhere from like a hundred to a hundred and fifty dollars.
