On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today we're showing you how to do color on relaxed hair. I went ahead and the match the colors as best as I could. It still has a little bit of warmth on the ends, but that's okay. Red usually fades out a little bit in the hair after a while, so I'm not really worried about it at all. That's alright by me. I went ahead and put a good conditioner on her head afterwards again and hydrated her hair once more because I had to put color on it and rinse out the first conditioning. I went ahead and did that. If you would like, you can also use a mask afterwards. That's a hydrating mask for a longer period of time if you feel the hair is dry again or if it feels brittle. What we're going to do with this head of hair is I'm going to set her hair. After I color the hair, I like to usually set it. I think it's best for the hair to set and it just leaves the hair softer, the cuticles softer. I don't like to pull on it with a blow dryer when I'm done coloring the hair after relaxing.
