How to Assess Colored Hair Quality: Part 1

Hi on behalf of Expert Village my name is Elizabeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today we are showing you how to put color on relaxed hair. I have already conditioned her hair and have left it on for five to ten minutes. If you have noticed how nice and clean she is on the forehead and around the ears and we did that stuff with the shampoo and that helped quite a bit. What I am going to do is to process her hair while she is still in the chair and then look at the hair itself and see what kind of color we got from the roots to the hair ends and figure out if we need to go ahead and do something different with the ends. I do not like to apply the color all over the relaxed hair all of the time because I usually just have to do touch ups. It is just much nicer for the hair but I can tell that already that she has a tinge of red on the ends so I am going to try to tone that down quite a bit. Let's see if we can do that.
