On behalf of Expert Village my name is Elizabeth Muller. From Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today we are showing you how to do color on relaxed hair. One of the last shampoos I did use on her. I used two of the color shampoos. I used a color shampoo now next that had a hydrating conditioning to it. I went ahed and shampooed her hair with hair with a hydrating color treated conditioning shampoo and the hair is more softer. It can go through the hands a little bit better. You see that it is easier to manipulate and it won't mess up the color. You want to use something for color treated hair and for relaxed hair. You know something that is hydrating so that way the hair can stay in good condition and moisturized. Okay so make sure that you use something hydrating and it's going to work best because it is going to go ahead and condition that hair. Cause the hair is going to lack moisture. Unless the hair is really soft, soft, soft like a spaghetti noodle. Then the hair needs hydration. If it is like that then you want to use protein. Because protein can harden the hair you know and you don't want to harden relaxed hair because it can crack.
