Hiya Liz thanks for this tutorial, it is excellent. I am a bit worried aobut shampooing straight after colour treatment. Won't that wash the colour out?

Do you shampoo hair always after colouring? I only rinse out the colour?

How to Wash Colored Hair

On behalf of Expert Village my name is Elizabeth Muller of Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today we are showing you how to do color on relaxed hair. I am going to take a good color shampoo again like I said and I am going to go ahead and rub her head really well. Make sure that the head has been rinsed out well with the color. Do not leave the color in there. She has got a lot of hair so use the tips of your hands do not use your nails. The scalp is really sensitive especially with the color and again open it up to get that out. In a little bit after I rinse her out I am going to condition it really well and I will show you how and what I will use but in the meantime you want to go ahead and take and maybe just run your hands through it with the shampoo and use the fingertips and push it into the scalp and into the scalp. Use the tips of your fingers. You may have to go ahead and wash it out again if we did not get quite the color we want on the ends because I want to see if I can do that.
