How to Transport an Ultralight Trike

CHAD BASTIAN: Hi, this is Chad Bastian, welcome to Expert Village. We're here to talk about the trike buggy and PPG triking with paragliders. Alright, in this clip, we're going to talk about transporting and perhaps taking your buggy apart. This buggy comes apart in about twelve to fifteen minutes. If you take off the clamps here, the motor comes off. There's a totally a separate paramotor. The trike comes apart. There's four bolts that if you take the trike apart, and it will fold down very quickly. In fact, one of my students has a Hyundai inside hybrid car and he takes the whole apart, puts it into his hybrid car. And he can take his motor, and his whole trike buggy, wing, everything, in his hybrid. He comes out and flies with us. For me, I like being able to put into either trailer or l have a Toyota truck. In this, I can lift the front up, lift the back up, and it sits right inside the bed of my Toyota truck. It fits real well. I don't have to take it apart. Literally, within five minutes of arriving at the landing field, I take this out. I set the wing up. I can be flying. So, the best of both worlds is either have a truck or perhaps the very best thing is a trailer like this, and you just roll it right in, ready to go.
