Hi! This is Brenda and today we are working on our acrylic painting projects. This technique that I am about to use is called double loading. So I am taking my brush that has the flat top like this and I am going to double load two colors on this brush. Now first I am going to dip into the coral color that I have here so half of the brush is loaded with coral. Taking the same brush, just turning it over now I am dipping the other side into the white paint, so it looks like this and it is double loaded. This makes a pretty effect when you use it for a flower and I am going to use this for a rose. I am just going to do a round like this. It makes interesting effects especially if you are working with flowers. Now of course, I will come in with a different color for the leaves like so. I do like to work with lots of colors and that makes an interesting effect instead of just using one color, I do like to use several colors and it gives the painting more depth and it just seems to pop out at you.
