Welcome to Expert Village. My name is Hugh Murphy with Surf the Sky Paragliding. In this clip, we'll talk about how to attach your paraglider to your para motor. Now, with a para motor harness, the carabiners that you attach to are slightly higher than normally for paragliding to triangulate for the weight of your motor. Most carabiners are auto-locking and there's a release to, a release button to open the carabiner. And then, once your riser is attached it automatically locks so you can't bump it and unlock it. And then, of course, the right side goes to the right side of your wing. Then, the left carabiner will go for the left side of the paraglider. As you bring that over and your wing is laid out, you'll make sure that your 'A' riser is in front connected to the leading edge of the paraglider, your 'B' lines are in the middle and 'B' risers connected to the middle of your paraglider, and the rear riser to the rear of your paraglider. They're all lined up and the easiest way to know this is your brake handle will be in the back. And then, you keep that straight as you come over. Bring your carabiner up straigh and then again, hit the lock release mechanism for your carabiner. Slide it in straight. And, you're automatically locked.
