How to Style Dirty men's Hair

Hi my name is Teri Lynne. I'm here with David O'Donnell and we're here on behalf of Expert Village. And in this segment, we're going to talking about tricks and tips for dirty hair. Now sometimes you're in a rush, you're leaving your house and you don't have time to take a shower or wash your hair, but you glance at yourself in the mirror and you notice that you're hair's a little bit dirty. Not looking so fresh or clean, so what do you do? I've got two tricks for you. If you have darker hair, one trick you can use, is they sell this stuff now it's called hair freshener, or hair extender. Often you'll find it just in the hairspray aisle or in the shampoo and conditioner aisle at your local drugstore or grocery store. And what this does, it actually absorbs the oil in your hair and adds a bit of volume so your hair doesn't look so flat and dry and greasy. So I'm just going to spray a little bit. So you can just spray it right on. You really want to spray it mainly on the roots, because that's where your hair starts to look really dirty. That's where the grease starts to build up and show. And then you can just actually comb it right in, or use your fingers and just work it right in. This stuff will dry naturally or you can blow dry it in, either one. I just let it dry naturally. And when it dries you're going to have a nice cleaner look to your hair. Now if you have blonder or lighter hair, the cheap trick you also want to use is baby powder. It actually absorbs the oil in your scalp and keeps your hair from looking dirty. So you just take a little, couple of shakes of baby powder and work it right into your hair, into your scalp, you can do it with darker hair too, you just have to really work it in in because you don't want to have that white residue in your hair. But with blond hair it works great. And it absorbs all the oil and your hair looks fresh and clean again.
