Why to Consider Home Office Access

Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to talk about how to design the home office of your dreams. In this clip, I know you're probably getting excited to see some action in this boring room, but believe by the end of the clips you will see a complete transformation. In this clip though, we need to talk about access, access to the space you've designated for your home office space. As we mentioned earlier, we have a couple of things to think about. When you're choosing the space in your home to be using for your dream home office, you have a couple of things to consider. Are you just using your home office, or are you having clients come to you. If they're coming to you, for instance in this space, this will not be a very good space. This will not be a very good choice if I was going to be having clients come to my home office. This is strictly going to be used for paper work and for writing. I don't have clients come into this space. It's strictly for my own personal use. I also have an office space downstairs that I use for editing. Again, I don't really have clients come over to the house all that often. I tend to send things out to my clients via through internet, email, or I go to them. That’s how I like to operate my business. You have to think about what is right for you, what works best for you. Again, think about that access space. If it's in your home, do you need a separate access. Can you have a separate door for clients to go through. It all depends on your house and how it works, again, best for you.
