Online Tax Deduction & Credit Tips
Hello everyone. Terry Bowden with Expert Village. And today we're talking about filing your taxes online. Now we're going through the motions here with Turbo Tax Free Edition. And now we're on other deductions, so we're going to guide me through other deductions. There's an alternative minimum tax, additional tax payments, Presidential campaign fund, and there's other tax forms. You can go through there to take a look on whichever one applies to you. But also remember, always consult a professional when dealing with these, because these are really, these are ones that are a little bit more involved than the other deductions. Because it's very easy to know what you paid your babysitter last year on childcare. But it's very, very difficult to look at these as far as underpayment penalties and so forth. So something you might want to consult your professional in these categories. Now we're done with our deductions, and we're in the Federal review now. Which is handling situations that can impact your bottom line, and knowing your refund and how much tax you owe, and the error checking of your Federal return. So we'll continue here. tax advantage of IRAs, continue. And your Federal bottom line. Now this is the page where it breaks down your total income. Your AGI, which is your adjusted gross income, all the way down to your estimated payments. Whether there is all your payments, and gives you, hey what we're looking for right? The net refund. Because that's why we're here, correct? So, that's why we look at Federal review. Now the next thing is our error check results. And if there are any errors here, you'll have to go back and make changes. And then we continue. And you analyze, done with that. And then we go into, what we have to do, we live in the United States, correct? And state is the key on your State taxes. So when we come back, we'll take a look at State taxes, and we'll look at printing and filing our return.
