How to Use Vice Grips

Among many other styles of pliers are vice grips. Vice grips are wildly used throughout the construction trade, automotive trade, pretty much any trade that you talk about now days, vice grips are common used. One kind of pliers that we have with us today are called a needle nosed vice grips. These vice grips here open up with the little tab on the handle. Open it up, that opens, and it has an adjustment screw, you can adjust it to different sizes, you can make it smaller, you can make it bigger, and what it's designed to do is grip and clamp whatever it is that you're using. Depending on the application, you have different styles, you have styles with big heads and shorter nozzles on it and then you have other ones that have longer grips and the ones that have prongs. It all depends on your application that you're using the vice grips for, what I suggest is that when you implement these here that you have exhausted all efforts as far as wrenches, adjustable wrenches, to try and get that off before attacking an item with these here.
