How to Use Dykes

We're going to be discussing lineman dykes and wire dykes. Wire dykes are different than lineman. Lineman's pliers are used for heavy electrical cutting, pulling staples, pulling nails, a variety of uses that you could come across the job site for these types of pliers. These here are for cutting heavy gauge wiring, 220 wiring, gauges from 7 or 8 and down in sizes. These here are regular lineman cutters. These her are also used for cutting smaller wires, stripping the wires for new outlets and also, the same thing, pulling staples. I mention that a lot. That will happen in a lot of jobs when you go to redo floors. If you want to pull staples up out of the ground, these here are the best type of instruments to use to be able to achieve that goal, as far as for the electrical process also.
