Hi, I'm Jabari Pride and you are back to expertvillage.com. We just talked about the hurdle stretch which was in this position and now it is a really good stretch over your hamstrings. Now from the same position we are going to stretch our quads. So simple by just pulling your leg forward a little bit maybe until it is almost like a 45 degree angle and leaning back on the opposite side. So if my right foot is forward kind of lean back to the left, trying to keep my hips down I'm really going to feel a stretch in my quads. Now if you are starting to feel some pain in your knee while you are doing the stretch it is possible if you have your lower part of your leg to far. So as you go back you are really going cramp on your knee and that is not good. So you want to make sure that you keep your ankle really in tight towards your gluts, your butt area, lean back and if your right foot is up. If you are stretching your right quad you want to lean back and to the left. Make sure you really keep those hips down that is going to help you with that stretch throughout that quad. You can repeat on the same side.
