Hi. My name is Jabari Pride and you're watching ExpertVillage.com. Today we are going to go over some of the basics on running track. I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I was a division one All-American after track, sorry after college I competed at the U.S. National In-Doors. I qualified and made the U.S. Word Team, competed at Budapest in 2004 in sprinting. Today we are going to go over a brief of track and field. You know, when it originated and kind of like a slight progression of that. Then we are going to go over and talk about some, just safety; things you should think about in safety. You don't want to pull a muscle, it hurts and stuff like that. We are going to talk about equipment. What you should wear and what you shouldn't wear. You know, the dos and don't of that.
