Now we are going to go ahead and cut this hole with a jigsaw and we've already gotten started with a drill bit so we are going to go right in there. Now jigsaws have trouble making 90 degree turns. You can kind of cut away at it and then achieve your 90 degree angle.
An interesting video, however, you may want to consider other means to cut out the holes for electric boxes. I used to have problems making accurately sized holes using a jigsaw or a handsaw. So I tried a spiral saw and I prefer it, but also had problems making accurate cuts and even damaged a finished wall while making a cut out for an old work box. Fortunately, I recently bought a set of installation guide templates that cured my problems. You might want to have a look at them at www.cutzout.com. Now my cut in is accurate, I don't weaken the drywall with a saw, the template protects the wall and I don't make such a mess when I cut out a hole. an oldhandyman
So you just rip a big hole in the wall and toss in an outlet box and thats it??? ready for your favorite lamp or television to be powered up. Has this woman ever done this in her entire life, it felt like i was watching a train wreck, please let a real professional make future videos.
