Card Clone Alternates Using Magic

I’m Joe Marshall with expertvillage.com and today we are going to learn how to predict the future. This is basically the same effect, it just has an alternate handling to it. If you do not happen to have an envelope lying around, which could happen, you could still do it without the envelope. What you want to do is you want to go through the deck and make sure that no one can see you and you are just looking for a card that they will pick and we will just use this one here, you can put in your pocket, which I would not advice but I mean if you have do it, do it. But you want to set it aside and just lay it on the table so that no one can see it and just leave it there and go on with the effects as described earlier and what is nice about this is when they cut through the card and they look at it, they can place it down, it is a nice comparison because this card has been there the entire time, you it kind of builds up suspense, they are wondering like what is this card and is it actually going to match, so when they actually turn it over themselves and see that it matches, it is actually really powerful form because it has been there the entire time, they know there is no trickery involved and sometimes if you do happen to have the envelope and you set it on top they may think there is little slide of hand thing happening, but that is the point of letting them do as much as you can let them do, so that is completely free and open. They cut the cards, they turn over the cards, they reveal the match and you are kind of just guiding them along. It is one more powerful that way than if you are just taking control of everything.
