Three Digit Number Prediction Using Magic

I’m Joe Marshall with expertvillage.com and today we are going to learn how to predict the future. For this it is completely… the only thing that you need is a pad, a paper and a pen. It is completely between you and the person and you can have a calculator for them if you like, it is a simple addition and subtraction thing. You are going to predict a number that is going to come to randomly, so you go ahead and write that down and you fold it up and set it aside. You hand them a piece of paper, you tell them to write down any three digit number that they want, say for example they write down 743 okay, then you tell them to reverse that number which in this case will be 743 reversed is 347, so it is just the same number written twice, the second one is backwards. Tell them to subtract the total from that and it comes out to 396. You tell them to take the new total and reverse that, which is going to be 693, you tell them instead of subtracting it to go ahead and add it, when you add it up, you get the random number of 1089 and you ask them if it is fair, it is completely fair they can pick any three digit number to start and reverse and the total that comes out can be any three digit number. They reverse that and add it to get this. It is completely random, set it aside. Tell them to open the prediction you made earlier and of course when you open it, it will match 1089.
