What are the Different Types of Astrology?

Hi. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Gnobo A. Calypso, also known as Bryce. And I'm here to tell you about astrology. We're going to discuss why today astrology has become more esoteric than it should be. Esoteric is a word that means it's developed for people who are like adepts for highly enlightened people. Whereas, exoteric means that it can present the presented in esoteric terms to the general public. Astrology no matter what school it is should not be esoteric or exoteric. All astrology should be able to be used by the layman. And it should be used by anybody who wants to follow this path because we're on this planet to learn the answers and a lot of us choose to learn the answers for ourselves. So, in astrology, the different schools of thought is there's Western astrology which is the, that comes more from Greece and the Roman times. That comes from Pathagorus, and it has a lot of Platoism in it. And, it deals with the specific Gods and Goddesses of Greece, ancient Greece, which they're actually spiritual principles which we'll discuss later. So, the Western astrology is used in Western terms and it's used with Western calculations. And, it has the different signs are compared to the different constellations which have a Western influence in the writing. There's also Vedic astrology which is very ancient. It's older than Western astrology. Vedic astrology is a system that's used for forecasting uncertainties and to explain to the person what is the best way to handle yourself according to your astrological sign within the situation. And, that's what's very strong with Vedic. Vedic uses a different calendar and different degrees. So, Vedic, it's hard to find the calculations for Vedic astrology. But, it is good to know what influence the Indian's had placed into this very, very ancient system.
