How to Service & Maintain Your Sabre Saw

Hi! My name is Ed Reyes with Master Builders in Tampa, Florida. I am here on behalf of Expert Village and I am here to show you how to use the proper use of a sabre saw. Now this particular saw is maintenance free to the point where we don't recommend you doing any repairs on this saw. This needs to be taken into a repair shop, certified, qualified person to repair it. The only thing that you need to worry about and tell tell signs would be a certain burning odor that would tell you your bushings are going bad and the other sign would be when you get a shaking and that would show you that the motor needs to be readjusted. So just basically maintenance free and if you do entail these type of problems, we recommend that you go to a certified, qualified technician to do the repair on this type of work. Now if you see that there is a certain fray on your cable or toward your end plug, you don't want to fix that yourself. You take that to a certified technician. What they will do is, these inserts here where the screws are, they will remove this casing and replace it all the way into the hard wiring. There is no lube required here, no oil, no type of bushings that need to be replaced here. All of it is an interior repair that needs to be done by a certified technician. So basically the only tell tell signs would be a burning smell where you would see that the bushings are going bad and also an audible sound where you will hear that it doesn't sound correct. If that occurs, you need to take it in and have it properly serviced.
