How to Remove Blade from Lawn Mower
Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, we will be removing our lawnmower blade. To remove the blade, I am going to be using a thick glove, a 5/8 inch combination wrench and a rubber mallet. With my mower turned on its side, I am going to take the blade with my glove and I am going to set my combination wrench on that center nut and I am going to hold that with my thumb. Then I am going to come with the rubber mallet and tap my combination wrench until it starts to loosen up that bolt. Now if you have a bolt that sticks real bad, you might want to consider putting some penetrating oil on it and letting that sit for a while. We are just going to continue this same procedure until it gets loose enough to loosen by hand and that blade should come right off.
