Understand How Much Sweet Potatoes Cost

Hi, this is Rich Buccola here in New York City and today of behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make sweet potato casserole. It's been about twenty, twenty five minutes. Keep an eye on them. Remember, I told you they're going to be golden brown. This is the magic. Magic time! I'll tell you, I love cooking for Expert Village when you have something that comes out of the oven looking like that. I think Martha Stewart would even be proud of me. Look at how beautiful! These are extremely hot. We are going to put them right on our table. The cost for our sweet potato today was really fairly cheap. I'll tell you, if you had to buy your bourbon, you could buy a fifth of it. You only need a small half a cup so you can buy the smallest thing of bourbon for five, six bucks. I think it's half a pint or something like that. With that said, your yams are very cheap. You could get six to eight yams, cost me about three bucks. Your brown sugar is probably about three bucks, three and change. So, I'll tell you, this heaping amount of sweet potatoes that we made today will serve between six to ten people, depending on size. And it's all for the price of about twenty bucks, twenty bucks or under. It's depending on where you live. Not a bad price, considering all the love that goes into this. These are a special specialty that make Thanksgiving always memorable. If you go out and follow this the same way I made it, you're going to have memorable times on your Thanksgiving and your special events.
