Operate a Portable Work Light

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I'll be talking about work light operation. Now because these work lights are very bright, too much exposure to them will cause skin damage or skin tissue damage due to the ultra violet rays that they produce. So it is important to be very careful. Again if your skin starts to feel warm, you want to move the light further away. Now if you are planning on using an extension cord, you want to find an extension cord of the proper rating and also make sure it's properly grounded. The power switches are located on the back of the lamp heads. They're these red push buttons. If you push it in, the light will eliminate. If you push it again, the lamp will turn off. When you turn on the lights, you want to reach behind it and make sure that you are not looking directly into the lamp. Again, to turn it off simply push that button again.
