Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we'll be talking about electrical safety. If you're using an extension cord to hook up your light you want to make sure you only use one that is a three prong extension cord. When not in use you want to make sure that you unplug your work light this is going to avoid any fire hazards or shock hazards. For this particular light you want to only use a 250 watt light bulb or lower wattage and that is identified here 500 watt total which calculates to 250 watts per light. If you are using extension cords you want to make sure that they are a good distance away from any type of water or moisture.
