This is a great introduction to tap dance. Well paced, with simple instructions that even I could follow. In fact the reason I was searching for something like this was that I attended a so-called beginners class last night where the teacher was - a great dancer - but a lousy teacher. I was so down I searched the web and came across this site. I'll never be fantastic, but at least I know I will feel more confident. Thank you for a terrific introduction.

Hi! I am Dani Rhodes and you can find me on the web at youtube.com/danirhodes. On behalf of Expertvillage.com, welcome. I am going to be showing you some basic tap moves today. We are going to start with a shuffle, all right and for those of you who do not know what a shuffle is, you are going to step your foot forward and spank it back. Step forward spank it back, shuffle, shuffle. Now you can put your arms out for balance if you need. Now in real time it would be, now we will try it together, we will do it slow four times and then fast. Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle. Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle. Now we will switch to the left side, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle. Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle.
