How to Wax the Chin at Home

Hi! My name is Kara. On behalf of expertvillage.com, today we will be talking about how to do a chin wax. We’re going to take a larger stick and apply it our wax. Again, making sure that it’s the right consistency and that’s not too hot. We’re going to test a small area on our skin, to make sure the temperature is just right. Now we’re ready to begin. We want to apply the wax in a downward motion several times until the area is completely covered. We want to take our strip and press down 2-3 times to make sure that all the hair is properly removed. Holding the skin taut, we want to then gently remove our strip. Go over it once or twice if all the wax does not come up at the first time. Apply pressure to the area and gently slide down. Now you’re ready to do the other side. Apply a small amount of wax onto your stick and gently remove all the excess. Use your strip and put pressure on it 2-3 times to make sure all the hair comes up. You’re now ready to pull. Still holding the skin taut, you want to gently remove the strip. Go over it once or twice, if needed, to remove all the extra wax.
