How to Use Advanced Features in Rhapsody

I'm Nick Brosco on behalf of Expert Village and in this segment, we're going to learn how to use some of Rhapsody's more advanced features. Besides the basic player controls in the the Rhapsody Jukebox, I thought that there were a few key features that I should mention. So before I do this I'm going to go ahead and get a song playing in the mixer. Now over here, these are your player controls. Now go to the right and you'll see three buttons. The button at the top is a shuffle button. If you click this, you turn shuffle on and now instead of all your tracks in the mixer playing in just straight down, straight through, when this song completes, it will go to another song completely randomly in the mixer. Another key feature of Rhapsody is the repeat feature. If I click repeat when all my songs in the mixer play straight down to the bottom, it will start back with the first song in the mixer again. Now let's say I just want to repeat this one song. What I'm going to do is I'm going to select a song that I don't want to repeat, I'm going to push delete and clear them out of the mixer. So now there's only this one song in the mixer. And when this song completes, it will repeat again and again and again to infinity. The last, and probably the coolest advanced feature in Rhapsody Jukebox is the EQ, or equalizer. Go ahead and highlight this third button and click on it while a song is playing. As you can see here we get a pop up with a graphic equalizer. If we click this drop down arrow, we get some presets that will help us fine tune how our music sounds. So for example if I click on bass boost, you're going to see here that it boosts the bass in our song. There's also some presets related to the genre of music you're playing. For example, Blues, Dance, Hip Hop, the list goes on. If we drop down and we go up to custom, we can customize this whole EQ layout and shape our own sound. So I can boost the bass here, boost the treble, drop the mids down. Even amplify it a little more. And that concludes this segment on using advanced features in Rhapsody.
