How to Sign Up for Rhapsody

I'm Nick Brosco on behalf of Expert Village, and in this segment, we're going to learn how to sign up for a Rhapsody account and how to download the Rhapsody software to our computer. So to sign up for a Rhapsody account, first navigate to your web browser. And once inside your web browser, navigate to www.Rhapsody.com. You should get a homepage similar to this one. To sign up for unlimited music, click over here, it says sign up for unlimited music. And it talks about the membership plans with Rhapsody. So we want to get Rhapsody Unlimited, because that's what this tutorial is primarily going to be focusing on, so click on Get Rhapsody Unlimited. You'll them be greeted by this sign in page. Since we are new to Rhapsody, we're going to go ahead and check this New To Rhapsody box. And it's going to ask for an email address. And to create a password at least six characters long, and then to confirm that password or just retype it. So I'm going to go ahead and do that. And when you're ready, when you're done, go ahead and click continue. We'll then be taken to a page asking us for our billing information. And then they just ask you for your typical billing address here, so I'm going to enter in all this information. Once you've entered in all this information, go ahead and click continue. When you click continue, you are agreeing to pay the thirteen dollars per month. So you will be charged thirteen dollars. You will then get transferred to this confirmation screen that says thank you, and it confirms that you have purchased your subscription to Rhapsody Unlimited. Now you're given two options. You can return to Rhapsody.com, sign in and enjoy unlimited access to the entire Rhapsody catalog. Or you can download the Rhapsody Music Jukebox software where you can manage all your music all in one place, create custom, ad free digital radio stations. Share playlists with your friends, burn CDs and more. Since this series is going to focus on the Rhapsody software, we're going to go ahead and click on start download. After you click on start download, you should be greeted by a download dialog box similar to this one. It asks if you would like to save the file, so go ahead and click on save file, and the download will begin immediately. Once the download has completed, navigate to your desktop or wherever else you saved the file. And look for the downloaded file. Here it is. As you can see the file has successfully downloaded. And that concludes this segment on signing up for a Rhapsody account and downloading the Rhapsody software.
