On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Paul Anderson from the ABC Circus and we are in Hollywood, Florida, and I'd like to show you some things about unicycles. You've noticed I do a lot of stuff on a 20 inch unicycle. My first unicycle was a 20-inch unicycle, so that's what I prefer. I spend most of my time riding on small stages. I want to show you one more way to learn how to ride the unicycle. I once taught a man who was really good at the pogo stick. I wanted to use what he already knew to help him find his way on the unicycle. I taught him to get up and put the unicycle like that and jump up and down. Now he can jump right away. By the way, when you jump you notice I slid my feet onto the pedal arm. I'm no longer standing on the pedals. I'm standing on the arm of the pedal and jumping up and down. This is great for jump roping or other tricks where you need to hop down like hoping down stairs. This man was able to figure out how to ride the unicycle by hoping. Whichever way he was falling, he would hop that way, slide his feet onto the pedals, and there he was rocking the unicycle again.
