Hi, I'm Nathan Boehme writer and film director with Expert Village. In this series, it's all about copyrights. So I've been working with film director for about ten years now and one thing that I have learned in that time. Is if you ever actually planned on showing your creative work to anyone and if it's any good, there is the chance that somebody out there is going to try and steal it and claim it as there own. It's unfortunate and unfair and the creative world would be much happier place without these people but they are not going anywhere so the rest of us need to take steps necessary to protect our work. That is the whole point of this series getting a copyright all of my creative work from film scrips and treatments to photos and finished films all of them are protected under the blanket of copyright law. In this series, I'm going to take you through the step by step process of getting that type of protection for your work.
