Antique Collecting: Beer Signs at Garage Sales

It is the thrill of the hunt, on your mark, get set, go, oh it’s a garage sale I can’t hardly stand it. Okay we are going to a garage sale and you know what, how many of these have you seen? Now if you are a big drinker you have probably seen a bunch in a bar somewhere but this is a very unique one and sometimes when you go to garage sales, you can find old neon beer signs which are absolutely the best things to find. Be careful with that neon by the way because it can just break, but this here, once you break a neon, worthless, but this here is one of my cute little recent acquisitions, this is a Bud Ice neon beer sign and when you light it up, the whole thing lights up and if looks like real beer and it is very cool. You can also find signs that are more like, they move, they bob, they blink, but you don’t want to find, you know those beer signs that are like mirrors. You see those everywhere, they also sell those new nowadays so just because it is a beer sign, doesn’t mean it is good. If it is old of course you know that you want to grab it and if it is unique like this one you want to grab it, sometimes the old, you know the Hamms Beer, the bear, the beer bear, that is very cool, but anyway make sure that when you buy beer collectibles they are very unique or they are loser items, but this is a find.
