How to Iron the Waistband of Pleated Pants

Hi, my name is Marti. On behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm going to show you how to iron a pair of cotton pants today with pleats. Place your pants on the edge on the end of your ironing board, bring the leg up. First thing I'm going to do is iron the waistband I got my iron on cotton I have it for steam to give it extra strength and punch to the pressing process. I'm going to iron just the waistband. It's really important when you ironing particularly things that are constructed that you iron one thing at a time. For example we are just ironing the waistband right now and I'm going to pull that waistband to where its straight. These days even cotton fabrics can be treated to help the wrinkle resistant that means it won't get wrinkled but they don't wrinkle as easily as some pants and some other garments.
