How to Iron the Pockets of Blue Jeans

Hi, I'm Marti. On behalf of expertvillage.com I'm going to share with you today how to press a pair of pants. We are going to be pressing a pair of blue jeans using starch. Again give it a light spritz now remember our seam is buckled here so I'm going to flip that over and work my seam first all the way up. You don't want to use too much starch; it doesn't take that much. If you have a high heat and to much starch will end up burning or browning the plate of your iron in which that case you have to clean that off. Another good thing give it just a few minutes or seconds just a few seconds to help absorb into your fabric. Again, start at the end of your board. Hand block it as you go and work your seams. The process time it doesn't take long at all.
