Hello, I'm Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to be learning how to organize your closet. Let's now talk in this clip about shelves. Shelves make more space for you above and below. By that I mean, have a look above here. We have created indeed some extra shelving you might say for us. I could of taking these pair of pants and just put them right here. But what we did was, in this case we put some boxes up here. We have indeed created more space for ourselves because I can now put things inside of the box and then put the pants on top of the box. So what I've done here is I have seasonal items in here that I don't necessarily need to get to everyday. If you need to get to these items, something really great that you can get is you can get various shelving units that will actually pull out, that can slide out from cabinets, baskets, that will slide out in compartments. So if you needed to get to it you'll be able to pull it out and put it back in. But you've created another shelf for yourself. We've done the same thing below. I've got more boxes beneath here that I've put some shoes on top but we're creating more space for ourselves. Again, the baskets that pull out and pull back into that you might put any of you know your lingerie or your socks or under garments, or things like that and they work great as well. You can put them either above on the shelves, below, but you're creating more space and making use of let's say the dead space around you.
