Right now I'm going to go into how to record some MIDI data. So what we're going to do is first set up your channel strip. I already have something recorded here, but what I'm going to do is I'm going to take it off of this. I'm going to start with something fresh right under it. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take the track and I'm going to duplicate it. The same setting and just solo this track, so the only track playing is the track I just highlighted. I'm going to press the caps lock button to open up the keyboard window on the keys and I'm just going to maybe hit the record, press, make sure I press rewind and hit the record button and just play a little something. So once I have that all set I'm going to want to take this, but delete these, whatever they are. Kind of resize this to where I want it. I'm going to go into the quantize. Maybe I'll quantize it a little bit, you know just to get it, I can see right here that one of mine is off. So I'm going to set that in place, kind of look at it. See that this one's a little bit off too. Even with the quantize sometimes it might not be the way you want it. So I'm going to play it just back, just so I can hear it and make sure it's what I want.
