JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi, this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. Now, what we're going to do is create a different kind of text effect where we have the letters moving and spinning towards us. Now, there are couple of ways to do this, and let's first of all create a NURBS object for our text. And what I want to have happen here is to have the text start at the top of the screen and move to the bottom of the screen, but I want it to spin on it's axis on the way down. Now, the simple way to do this is to simply select extrude NURBS and a--set the keyframe at zero. Then go to, say 75. Bring it down to the floor. Set another keyframe. Then about half way through the animation, we'll rotate it. Set the keyframe. And you can see the problem, the problem is that the, the text is interpolating in a funny way, it's not really moving along a path that the path that I really wanted. What I wanted was just to have a simple spin, and then have the text land.
