Tips for Adding Felt to Popcorn Christmas Garland

Hi everybody, my name is Angela Pugh. I'm here today on behalf of Expert Village to teach you how to create Christmas tree garland out of popcorn. Now keep in mind, garland is one of those fun activities that you want to do, you don't want to be stressed out about it, you don't want to have all of your material all uniformly cut, you want them to be different shapes and different sizes. You could even take a piece of material and even roll it up if you like, see that? Nice long little roll. If you decide you want to do it that way, stick your needle, stick it in, come out on the other side, go back in towards the middle, come out, go back in and come back out. You can use red thread if you like so it's not as noticeable. I tried to use the black thread so that you would be able to see it clearly while I was creating the garland. And just pull it on through. Now let's say that you've got your nice long piece here but you don't want it to be that long, bunch it up a little, makes it look like a little piece of rose, see there? And then don't forget, you've got to go back to the star of the show which is our popcorn and just keep stringing it along, stringing the popcorn along.
