Melting the Chocolate for Making Oatmeal Bars

Hi! I'm Rachel for Expert Village. Now, I'm going to put the oil, chocolate, and the juice together and I'm going to melt it. The reason why I'm not putting the vanilla yet is because it's not so good to pour vanilla to be cooked in the fire. First, we're going to melt those 3 together. It shouldn't take so long. We don't need it to get it into a boil. We just need to melt the chocolate. If you have a microwave, you can do it the microwave. You just have to keep on stirring, because if you don't stir it, the chocolate is going to stay on the bottom and get burned. You have to make sure that you stir it until the chocolate melts. Now, once the chocolate is melted, we're going to add a teaspoon of vanilla and the walnuts. Then we're going to mix again a little bit, and that's it. It's ready.
