I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that I use when exercising my horse using Calisthenics. So in conclusion teaching your horse these various calisthenics could lead to a better overall suppleness and more ride ability of your horse. So a couple of things that you want to work on are your indirect turns which is using your outside rein and outside leg and have your horse move in the opposite direction. Bumping your hip around, get your horse softer in its mid section. Get your horse to push off the right leg when you want to go to your lope. Bumping it around one way or another just to soften your horse face on each side and of course, your side passes to work on more lateral movement. So if you really work on all of these with your horse, your horse would be more responsive, it would be more softer. Your horse would have better movement in each of its gate. It would allow you to steer and control your horse better in a horse show situation or riding with a lot of people. So in conclusion, it just makes your horse a lot more of an enjoyable and ridable animal.
