Hi, I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Now it's time to reinstall the axle, so he removes the nuts, he just stored them on the studs there to keep them out of the way and when we pull the axle out it just brings a little bit of gear oil out with it. Gear oil and brakes aren't a good mix so he wipes it out pretty carefully and if you dribble a bunch of brake fluid out there, I mean a bunch of gear lube, wash it down with brake cleaner. It's okay to get brake cleaner on the brakes. I told you when you were pulling the drive shaft out that it's a good idea to replace that transmission seal, if you've got a vehicle with miles on it. But we're not replacing the axle seals. The Ford 9 inch style rear end has a very expensive and very difficult to replace seal. It's built into the bearing. They don't leak very often. It's not a normal thing to replace the bearings and seals on the axle for this kind of a job.
Nothing has come on yet.
