Isolated Leg Stretches & Exercises to Increase Flexibility

Hi I’m Angela on behalf of Expert Village.com and right now I am going to show you a way to more dynamically increase flexibility in your leg. A little more dynamic than just merely leaning on it like this. What you are going to do is lie on the ground. What is also nice if you have somebody to stretch with they can help you pull the leg back but if you are by yourself, it is equally effective. So I’ll lift your leg up and put your hands on your calf and just slightly push. You will feel a stretch going all the way down to your buttocks. Remember to breathe even and out. This helps work the muscle more and it reduces the risk of tearing it. After 10 to 15 seconds, you can release and go to the next leg. Never do both legs at the same time. It is very important that you isolate them. It increases the impact of the stretch.
