Hi! I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to show you some tips and techniques that I use to band my horses mane. Some of the supplies that you will need when you are banding your horse is a little comb such as this. It makes it easy to suction your horses mane and detangle. You want to have some clips like this to hold the sectioned mane with. These are bands. They are made specifically for banding or braiding mane and tail. They are a little bit thicker than regular rubber bands. You want to make sure that your bands aren't too old or they will have a tendency to kind of be brittle and break. You will also need a good pair of scissors as well. Also you probably want to have some type of stool to stand on and make sure you are even with the mane and you can properly see what you are doing. So these are some of the basic supplies that you will need when you are banding your horses mane.
