Preparation Awareness for Flood Survival

Okay when you are along the stream like I am right here, right behind your house, it looks calm today but tomorrow it could be a raging river. A small creek could turn into a raging river overnight so preparation is very essential for your household and the safety of your family and your pets. So remember preparation, have a family plan in place, have meeting places, have an emergency evacuation bag ready with all your needs of medication, some basic food, water, first aid kit. Don't forget to turn into local media radio and television to find out where evacuation centers are. Check our websites ahead of time and don't forget to get flood insurance as we discussed earlier. Don't drive through high water so preparation will get you through any disastrous emergency especially and including a flood.
