Create a Family Plan for Flood Survival

I'm James Donnelly from Expert Village and today I am going to show you what you might need in case of a flood emergency. The best thing to have is a family plan. Have things ready to go before a flood actually happens. Have certain meeting places. You don't want to be marooned on flooded streets, so get your family, pets and children together. Do you think there's a chance it might break? Well that's, I was just talking to Vanderhide and he said, "yeah, get yourself upstairs, we are going to evacuate". And yeah, you don't know right, especially after '72. I was just talking to a Wilkes-Barre official here in Pennsylvania and they said at one o'clock they are going to announce a mandatory evacuation for a couple of days here in Wilkes-Barre. So, what are the other things you want to do is make sure you lock your doors and your windows before you leave your house. Also, take important pictures to a second floor level or a higher ground to make sure if you have type of water damage that it's not going to ruin your family photos. And it's also very important that you have a security box or a carry box like this with all your important papers, your deeds, your financial papers, all in one tiny box that you can take with you so it doesn't all get destroyed by the flood.
