The next thing I'm going to show you how to do is how to convert an audio file within the audio bin. Sometimes you might catch an audio file that you might not be able to use within logic. Usually, it uses AIFFs and WAVs, things like that. So, what I can do is go into my audio bin and just import the file just right into it. And within this I can convert it, so say I have this file right here. It's a WAV file. What I can do is go into my audio bin. Highlight the file and go to copy - convert files. Once I can choose my folder that I want the new file to be in and then choose a different sample rate, bit depth. I can choose file format, as well as the conversion and the dither type. I can do all these things and actually change it. So, what I can do is go here and maybe I'll change it to an AIFF. I'll do a interlaced split and I'll put a little bit of dithering on it. Change the original bit depth to eight. Save.
