Looking at Takes in Logic Pro 8

Now what I'm going to show you about is takes. Different takes are when you record. It's like the different layers of takes. Especially if you're loop recording, it's going to rerecord over and over again and it's going to keep each of the layers of the MIDI data. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to try to record something right now. I'm going to hit the record button and I'm just going to try to record a shaker. It's going to repeat over and over again. So what you can do is kind of just going over it. So looking at it, taking off the loop I can actually see that it has a few different layers on it. If I go onto it I can actually see different takes that it might actually record. So what you can do is you can actually look at the different takes and remove them from each other, so that you can use certain takes over other ones. And you can change the MIDI data within it and remove different layers of MIDI data one by one within the takes.
