Preparation for Cooking Seared Salmon Step 4

Hi! I'm Louis Ortiz on behalf of Expert Village and we've pretty much finished the cooking procedure that I was talking about in the earlier videos as far as searing the salmon. So we are going to go ahead and pull out the finish product here and that is our salmon as you notice we got a nice even color on the outside of this fella. What we are trying to void is to just cook this from start to finish on the stove top simply because we wouldn't get this nice pretty color unless we cooked it using both procedures. One in the oven and one on the top of the oven. So there is our fish fillet and I left any residual oil right there in the pan and this is our salmon. It started to break off a little tinny bit but I want to cut that open and just show you that it is nice and steamy, it is really moist on the inside. So we have got a nice seared color on the outside and then we finished cooking it through t the out inside the oven and kept it moist. Have we cooked it from start to finish in the pan we would not have gotten those results. So that is the finish product and that is what you are shooting for in the searing procedure.
